Data processing for other purposes only comes into consideration if the prerequisites for this according to Art. 6(4) GDPR are met. We shall of course comply with any obligations to provide information according to Art. 13(3) GDPR and 14(4) GDPR in this case.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is essentially – insofar as there are no specific legal requirements – Art. 6 GDPR. Here, the following options in particular come into consideration:
- Consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR)
- Data processing for the fulfilment of contracts (Art. 6(1) lit. b) GDPR)
- Data processing on the basis of a balancing of interests (Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR)
- Data processing for the fulfilment of a legal obligation (Art. 6(1) lit. c) GDPR)
Storage location
The data are generally processed at data centres within the European Union. However, it cannot be ruled out that data will be transferred to a third country in individual cases. The data will only be transferred to countries outside the European Union if the requirements of Art. 44 – 49 GDPR are met and data processing is permitted under data protection law.
Storage period
We process the data for as long as this is required for the respective purpose.
Insofar as legal retention obligations exist – e.g. under commercial law or tax law – the relevant personal data are stored for the duration of the retention period. Once the retention obligation has expired, whether a further processing requirement exists is reviewed. If a requirement no longer exists, the data are deleted.
As a matter of principle, we regularly review data in regard to the need for further processing. Due to the quantity of data, this review is conducted in regard to specific types of data or purposes of processing.
Recipients / disclosure of data
Your personal data are only disclosed to third parties if this is necessary to execute the contract with you, disclosure is permitted on the basis of a balancing of interests within the meaning of Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR, we are legally obligated to disclose or you have consented to this.

You have the right to information about the personal data concerning your person processed by us. In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, please understand that we may then request information from you that proves that you are the person you claim to be. Furthermore, you have a right of correction or deletion or to restriction of the processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to this. Moreover, you have a right of objection to the processing within the context of the statutory provisions. The same applies for a right to data portability.
Please send an email to info@cp-bauteam.de to assert your rights as a data subject.
Right of revocation and right of objection
Insofar as the data processing is based on a consent pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. a) GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Notice of revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before the revocation notice.
If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR, you have the right to lodge an objection against the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, insofar as reasons exist for this, which arise from your specific situation or if the objection is aimed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us, without indicating a specific situation.
If you wish to assert your right of revocation or objection, it is sufficient to send an e-mail to info@cp-bauteam.de.
