Laying of the Foundation Stone at A&M Stabtest GmbH in Bergheim

The conscious decision of the building owners around Dr. Lejon Martens and Dr. Joachim Stein to have the laying of the foundation stone take place later in the building process than usual enabled the guests to experience an already almost completed shell.

The foundation stone in the form of a time capsule, filled in advance by the employees, could also be placed in a wall in the entrance area for all to see. So the foundation stone becomes a visible testimony of time for today’s visitors and staff as well as for future generations.

Bergheim’s mayor Volker Mießeler and Udo Schmitz from the Bergheim Economic Development Agency accompanied the ceremonial placement.

Patrick Ersfeld, project manager of general planning, Carpus+Partner AG, and Dr.-Ing. David Klein, project manager of the construction team, CP Bauteam GmbH, were present as representatives of our association of companies.

We are in charge of the turnkey realization in the partnership-based Bauteam-Model and ensure the quality, cost and deadline targets of the client. On the planning side, the AG continues to provide advice and support.

In the next few weeks, the interior work will begin and the project will be ready for occupancy in the first quarter of 2022.
