“We directly realized that iTWO site facilitates our everyday work on the construction site,” is Sven Hennig happy to say. The RIB solution is the first program the site manager starts in the construction trailer in the morning. Before he goes out to the construction site, he always takes a look at the construction diary on the laptop first, which he maintains together with a team colleague. On the construction site, he uses a tablet or cell phone to document the entire construction process. Especially the possibility of documentating photos with iTWO site is a great help for the site manager and his team and the teams from external companies: “The photos make it easy for us to understand which remaining services of the individual trades still need to be carried out and which changes and adjustments we still need to make,” explains Hennig. In addition to defect management and plan management, the team has set up a special function for the client’s change requests in iTWO site,: “With this, I can virtually walk through the entire construction site with the client and note his correction requests via pin in the system. These will then automatically be found on all PDF printouts,” says the site manager.

ADVANTAGES WITH iTWO SITE QUICKLY APPARENT
Hennig and his team create all meeting minutes in iTWO site. The system assists with the planning and assigning of work and brings employees up to date with the latest information. In plan management, the team has recorded all events – 450 in number for this measure – which can now be checked off one by one as soon as they are completed. The software and the project started at virtually the same time. Therefore, there was actually no time for a classic software introduction for the key user Sven Hennig and his colleagues, which is admittedly why the plan management could only be started in a later project phase than is usual at CP Bauteam. Nevertheless, the initial advantages that the cloud solution brings, for example for construction site documentation and project communication, were quickly apparent. “Based on this experience, we are developing new processes and workflows that will then be used in later projects. The more experience we have, the more efficiently we can gradually use the solution in everyday construction site work,” explains site manager Hennig.
